Employee spotlight- Yogita Pandey, HR Generalist – IFSC 

What was your first job? 

My first job was as an HR assistant at an IT firm, where I supported recruitment processes, managed employee records, and assisted with onboarding. This role taught me the importance of organization, communication, and attention to detail in managing people effectively. It provided a strong foundation in HR practices and helped me understand the intricacies of talent management and how HR contributes to overall business success. 

What excites you about financial technology today? 

What excites me most about financial technology today is its potential to shape the future of global finance. Whether through innovative payment systems, decentralized finance, or advancements in cybersecurity, fintech is at the forefront of building a more transparent and efficient financial ecosystem. 

Where will financial technology and finance evolve in the next 5-10 years? 

Financial technology continues to revolutionize the industry by driving deeper personalization, enhancing security through blockchain, and expanding financial inclusion worldwide. AI and machine learning will likely become more integral, enabling smarter, data-driven decisions. Additionally, integrating fintech with emerging technologies like IoT and quantum computing could open up new possibilities we’re only beginning to imagine. 

What would people be surprised to learn about you? 

People might be surprised to learn that I am deeply passionate about nature and find solace in long walks amidst serene environments. Despite my love for solitude, I also thrive in the company of others, as I am inherently extroverted. I am driven and persistent professionally, striving to accomplish my goals and make a tangible impact.
