What was your first job?
Twenty years ago, I started my career as a Risk Management Junior Associate. In that role, I learned about equity derivatives, as well as commodity and currency risk management processes.
What excites you about financial technology today?
The use of technology in derivative structures, products, CFDs, wire margin calculations, portfolio risk management, and validations excites me.
What’s one skill you have developed here that you didn’t expect?
When working on a new venture, product, or process, it needs to be aligned with industry standards. For that, leaders must think 360 degrees. Here, I have developed the ability to think outside the box to achieve results and meet set goals.
This is a skill I didn’t expect to develop, but it has been a valuable learning experience.

For the future of this industry, professionals must have the ability to adapt to changing situations and embrace continuous learning—both of which are essential for success.
