What excites you about financial technology today?

There is a lot of innovation happening in financial technology, such as UPI, digital currency, cryptocurrency, and buy now, pay later, which is really exciting. This also provides a lot of convenience, lower costs, and easy access for the common man.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

If I could give advice to my younger self, I would say: try to build a good relationship with the people who inspire you. Start investing early in your career, continuously learn, upgrade your skills, and take calculated risks.

What’s one skill you have developed here that you didn’t expect?

One skill I have developed here is the ability to adapt my communication according to the work environment, as I need to interact with many people from different backgrounds. I have learned how to adjust my tone based on the context and depth of the conversation.

What was your first job?

My first job was as a finance associate at a US-based MNC, where I learned how a financial company operates, its regulatory reporting requirements, automation, and data analysis. There, I also learned how a large organization functions, as well as the protocols and processes in a corporate culture.
